The Table

When we moved into our "new" rented home, Harry blessed me with a new coffee table and end tables. With the way our living room is, I also wanted a couch table (the kind that goes behind a couch). So, my dear husband made me one! Then (about 4 weeks after he made the table) we took the plunge and painted it to match the other ones. Everyone got in on the project; there was black paint everywhere! I used a plastic bag technique to make the top look like tile. We think it turned out pretty good. In the house, it's hard to tell that the table isn't part of the "set".
